Aquarium of the Pacific
While I enjoy visiting Southern California's many theme parks, the week between Christmas and New Year's Day is the absolute worst time to go. This year I decided to pay a visit to the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach. I realize some people out there have objections to aquariums and zoos, but I don't agree with many of their arguments (as long as the facilities are properly maintained). A lot of great work and research come out of aquariums and zoos, and it's a great opportunity to see and learn about many species that we'd otherwise never experience in our day-to-day activities. @thegeekticket: @ProgressCityUSA Why is that not happening right now? @thegeekticket: @ProgressCityUSA If only a park would build an attraction based off the upcoming reboot of Third Man on the Mountain, titled The Third Man. @thegeekticket: @ThemePark It's incredibly dated, and I can sum it up as 15 mins of a woman screaming "Mariner!" over and over followed by some explosions. |
